Senior Product Designer

Mid Level
Design is at the core of how we build the future of Perceptyx. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll shape the experience of our platform—bringing clarity and simplicity to complex workflows across multiple products and capabilities.
You’ll work hands-on across the full design cycle: from research and storyboarding through prototypes, high-fidelity screens, and handoff—then continue partnering with engineering through implementation, performing visual QA to ensure what ships matches the design intent. You’ll ensure designs are responsive, accessible, and consistent with industry-standard patterns, so the platform is usable for all.
Collaboration is central to this role. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, and other teams across the organization to deliver solutions that align with business needs and delight customers. You’ll also engage deeply with the design team—sharing work, reviewing together, co-creating solutions, maintaining our design language, and supporting one another in pushing the craft forward. Because our teams are distributed, strong communication skills are essential: you should be comfortable working across time zones, using asynchronous channels effectively, and joining regular video meetings to stay connected.
In addition to owning design for a core area of the platform (such as a product, feature set, or admin experience), you’ll also take on a broader design responsibility—like advancing the design system, shaping research practices, or defining design standards. This work benefits the platform while also positioning you as a key contributor within the design team, helping to strengthen our craft and ways of working.
We work primarily in Figma, so you should be fluent in creating clean, detailed screens and prototypes ready for engineering. Bonus points if you’ve experimented with Figma Make or other code-adjacent tools. Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs, and how emerging technologies can shape product experiences, is also valuable. You’ll apply design thinking throughout—framing problems, exploring solutions, and validating what works.

Things You'll Do:
  • Lead design for a core area of the platform (e.g., product, feature set, or admin experience) from concept to launch
  • Own a broader design responsibility (e.g., design system, research practices, or design standards) that benefits both the platform and the design team
  • Translate research and requirements into wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and polished designs
  • Validate designs with users, stakeholders, and internal teams, iterating based on feedback
  • Present and explain design decisions with clear, thoughtful rationale
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers in a distributed, remote-first environment—aligning design outcomes with strategy, supporting implementation, and performing visual QA through async and live communication
  • Contribute to design reviews and knowledge sharing, helping elevate team craft and consistency
  • Stay current with accessibility standards, responsive/adaptive practices, and emerging industry trends
Things You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of product or UX design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work
  • Fluency in Figma, with the ability to deliver clean, detailed screens and prototypes through to implementation and visual QA (bonus: experience with Figma Make or other code-adjacent tools)
  • Strong foundation in responsive and adaptive design, accessibility, and use of industry-standard patterns for complex, enterprise workflows
  • Experience designing within and contributing to design systems; Design system management experience is a plus
  • Ability to translate research and requirements into wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and high-fidelity designs
  • Awareness of front-end practices (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers
  • Clear communication skills—you can explain and defend design choices while welcoming input from stakeholders and teammates
  • Comfortable working with distributed teams—able to collaborate across time zones, communicate asynchronously, and engage in regular video meetings to stay connected
  • Approachable and collaborative, with a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Creative, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs is a plus, especially in designing new types of product experiences
  • Willingness to work with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
