IT Support Specialist

Perceptyx is looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide top-notch helpdesk support to our employees. You'll work closely with our IT and Security teams, ensuring fast and efficient resolution of support requests while maintaining a high standard of service. Please note: This role primarily requires in-office presence, with some flexibility for remote work. The IT Support Specialist must be able to go into the office as needed to retrieve, set up, and ship equipment to employees. This includes occasional trips to FedEx for drop-offs. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record will be required for this position. 

Job duties: 

  • Troubleshoot and repair Windows PC and MacOS desktops/laptops.
  • Setting up new computers, monitors, and peripherals.
  • Support mobile devices, VoIP, and printers.
  • Schedule and perform software/hardware upgrades, new installations, workspace moves, etc. in conjunction with Office Services.
  • Prioritize and respond to help desk requests in accordance with company procedure.
  • Maintain and update Windows and MacOS operating systems.
  • Maintain system configuration and documentation.
  • Facilitate documentation for inventory control, receiving, and auditing.
  • Create, maintain, and grow knowledge resources, such as FAQ libraries and intranet sites.
  • Monitor systems usage to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or GED
    • An associate degree or higher in IT is preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years of technical experience with Windows and Mac operating systems is required.
  • Experience with Apple MDM is a plus.
  • Works well under pressure in a scaling environment.
  • Able to perform a variety of tasks in a safe and productive manner.
  • Detail-oriented/highly accurate, follows verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Solid written and oral communication and active listening skills.
  • Willingness to work with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Compensation:
Perceptyx is focused on equitable pay for all our staff and aims for transparency with our pay practices. The hourly pay range for this role is $26.00 - $28.84 with an expectation to work 40 hours per week. The above range represents the expected hourly range for this position. The actual range may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
