**We welcome all people based in the Montevideo Metropolitan Area to apply. This job is a hybrid role from this location. **
The DevOps Engineer will work with leads in the organization across cross-functional teams to ensure our

infrastructure as code is in line with our business priorities. You will manage DevOps infrastructure projects
and processes. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential.
This role will be responsible for infrastructure development, configuration management, and deployment
pipeline for application and system. As a DevOps Engineer, you will also be responsible for improving
security and performance measures.

Things You'll Do:
  • Architect and deploy secure, scalable AWS environments leveraging VPCs, subnets, routing, EKS, RDS, S3, SQS, Direct Connect and other core services to meet performance and availability targets.
  • Build and manage advanced networking configurations, including VPC peering, Transit Gateways and Network Load Balancers, to support multi-region architectures and efficient service-to-service communication.
  • Define and maintain comprehensive cloud security controls: configure firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco), enforce encryption in transit and at rest, manage IAM roles and policies, perform threat analysis and implement network segmentation using tools like VPC Endpoints and AWS Network Firewall.
  • Automate the provisioning, configuration and management of infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible, ensuring repeatable and auditable deployments.
  • Implement comprehensive observability, monitoring and logging across AWS resources to detect anomalies early and enable rapid root-cause analysis.
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Snyk, Linkerd, Argo CD and others), integrating automated testing and security scanning to accelerate delivery while improving resilience and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with security and engineering teams to align infrastructure design with application architecture and ensure systems evolve securely and efficiently.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical networking and infrastructure issues, ensuring swift remediation and minimal service disruption.
Things You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 3 years designing, deploying and operating production-grade cloud services in AWS, with a focus on SaaS environments where uptime, security and scalability are paramount.
  • Proven ability to design, implement and troubleshoot complex network architectures using VPCs, subnets, routing tables, NAT gateways, security groups, VPNs/Direct Connect, and advanced networking features (e.g. VPC peering,Transit Gateway).
  • Experience integrating AWS networking services seamlessly to enable secure communication across multi-account or multi-region setups.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible to codify network and infrastructure components, ensuring repeatability and reducing manual configuration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control to manage infrastructure-as-code deployments.
  • Strong understanding of network segmentation and defence-in-depth strategies.
  • Practical experience implementing security controls such as firewalls, encryption (TLS/IPSec), IAM policies and threat analysis to safeguard cloud resources.
  • Comfortable with fundamental protocols and technologies—routing, load balancing, VPNs, TCP/IP—and how they apply within cloud ecosystems.
  • Able to diagnose performance issues and optimize network paths for latency and throughput.
  • Experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) as they relate to networking.
  • Ability to collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD workflows and infrastructure integration.
  • Clear communicator who works well across teams troubleshooting.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (4-year) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field preferred.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
